Valley View Casino in San Diego opens the first automated poker room in San Diego County tomorrow as part of its 25,000-square-foot casino expansion. Six PokerPro tables are installed and ready to go.
“Our job at Valley View Casino is to offer games and services to our guests that are fun, exciting, and cutting-edge,” said Mike Tansley, vice president of table games and player development at Valley View Casino. “Being one of the first casinos in the state to offer such a revolutionary amenity allows us to accomplish two very imperative goals: one, entertain our guests, and two, remain industry and market leaders.”
The new poker room is named “Poker at the View” and will feature a $1 million bad-beat jackpot exclusive to Valley View Casino in San Diego. The jackpot will be awarded to a player with a four of a kind sixes when an opposing player’s hand is a royal flush.
The new addition will offer the same amenities as the original casino, except it is non-smoking.
