Ocean Resort Casino and Hard Rock Atlantic City are busy putting the final touches on their properties ahead of the June 28 grand openings.
Every day more details are released in hopes of enticing guests back to the Boardwalk with promises of promotions, entertainment, and pampering.
Ocean Resort Casino seems to be following Hard Rock’s lead by introducing a loyalty program that begins with a local casino rewards program match.
An eye for detail at Ocean Resort Atlantic City
Hard Rock AC debuted its loyalty program in April. Ocean Resort released its program this week.
Being late to the game hardly seems to have an impact on Ocean Resort. They are too busy methodically dotting every “i” and crossing every “t.” It is this attention to detail that officials from Ocean Resort are counting on to attract new and loyal guests.
Frank Leone, CEO of Ocean Resort Casino, said as much in a press release:
“Loyalty to our customers is paramount to our business philosophy and so we worked diligently to ensure that we put together a rewards program that we hope demonstrates that to our customer base. We designed the Ocean Premier program to set Ocean Resort Casino apart, ensuring our program would be competitive in the market and offer benefits that are not currently part of any other local casino loyalty program.”

Nothing says loyalty like a program that makes a customer feel rewarded just for walking in the door. Ocean Premier does just that.
There are four levels: Blue, Gold, Platinum, and Black.
All Ocean Premier members will receive offers in the mail that include dining and retail discounts, plus special room offers. Additional discounts will be made available to Ocean Resort’s partners including Hyatt and TopgolfSwingSuite.
Of course, players will earn comps based on how much they play. They can even earn 2x the comps by stopping by any rewards kiosk.
To help launch the Ocean Premier program in style, Ocean Resort Casino will match the tier level from a guest’s rewards card from any Atlantic City casino. The tier match is valid from June 28 – Sept. 30, 2018.
Ocean Resort has put a big emphasis on customer service. One way they plan on doing that is by properly rewarding its most loyal customers.
Leone had this to say on the subject:
“Our desire was to design a robust, tiered loyalty card program that rewarded all levels of players and ensured our loyal customers would feel included in our offerings and events. The Ocean Premier tier level approach gives us that flexibility and allows us to reward those loyal to Ocean Resort Casino with some truly special and unique offerings.”
What about Ocean Resort AC’s casino license?

Ocean Resort is cutting it close. With only 23 days until opening day, the casino has yet to receive its NJ casino license. The last scheduled meeting of the Casino Control Commission before the property’s grand opening is June 6.
The CCC and the casino have been working together during the entire renovation process to ensure compliance with New Jersey’s gaming laws.
And the NJ Department of Gaming Enforcement has said that it would expedite the process for both Ocean Resort and Hard Rock. (Hard Rock Atlantic City got its casino license in May.)
Getting a casino license would make a lot of people breathe a little easier. Ocean Resort AC has been touting its sportsbook since its initial announcement. It plans to be ready to accept sports bets with partner William Hill when the doors open.
Meanwhile, the NJ Senate and Assembly are prepared to pass NJ sports betting regulations as soon as this week.
None of that would be possible without a gaming license. Let’s face it; the grand opening weekend would be a lot less grand without any gaming options.
Excitement is building for opening day
The pomp and circumstance of two grand openings complete with ceremonial ribbon cuttings and A-list entertainment have been the talk of the town since the beginning of the year.
